EduRob – Developing Future Educators’ Digital Competence Through Introducing Robotics into Curriculum (Grant Agreement No. 101179514) – is an ambitious Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) project dedicated to transforming teacher education by embedding robotics into the curriculum across all educational levels in Ukraine. The project, co-funded by the European Union, was officially launched in 2025 and will be implemented through 2027. In a world increasingly shaped by digital technologies, EduRob responds to the urgent need for future educators to be digitally competent, resilient, and innovative.

The EduRob project brings together a dynamic consortium of 9 institutions, including universities from Ukraine and experienced partners from Estonia and Austria. This collaborative network fosters cross-border knowledge exchange, enhances institutional capacities, and promotes EU best practices in educational robotics. The project supports six Ukrainian universities in establishing fully equipped robotics laboratories, updating teacher training curricula, and introducing innovative pedagogical practices in digital education.

EduRob’s mission is rooted in the progressive integration of robotics into formal and informal education — from preschool to higher education. Through online and face-to-face training, study visits, and pilot courses, educators and future teachers develop skills in robotics and digital technologies, empowering them to inspire the next generation. The initiative also emphasizes community engagement by launching public robotics events and encouraging collaboration between universities, schools, and kindergartens.

By modernizing teacher education, EduRob lays the groundwork for sustainable digital transformation and a digitally skilled society. It enables Ukrainian educational institutions to bridge the digital divide and prepare learners for future professions shaped by robotics and automation. With its inclusive, forward-looking approach, EduRob is more than a project — it is a catalyst for educational innovation and long-term impact in the digital age.
