Scientific work at the department is carried out in the following areas:

Pathology of pregnancy in cows, features of the immunobiological status, diagnosis, prevention and treatment;

Theoretical and experimental justification of development and use of a bacteriophage drug active to causative agents of mastitis in cows;

Theoretical and experimental substantiation of the development of new antimicrobial drugs and agents for the prevention and treatment of animal diseases and disinfection in veterinary medicine;

Morpho-physiological substantiation of different methods of sterilization of bitches and cats;

Determination of influence of computer technologies and social networks on quality of preparation of veterinary surgeons;

Development of preventive against ketosis in cows Podilsk region.
